Base Rail with Three Points of Contact to Surface

Our Single and Dual Vertical Leveling Feet contain four counterbored holes that are positioned to attach the foot to the inner M6 taps on the end of a standard 95 mm rail. They also contain a centered, Ø2.83" (Ø71.9 mm) clear aperture that leaves the entire interior of the rail unobstructed. By rotating the stainless steel swivel pad at the bottom, the height of the part is adjustable through a 30 mm (1.18") range. The durable swivel pad provides stable contact with the surface the foot is resting on, even if the surface is angled. Four M6 cap screws and a 5 mm hex key are included with each foot.

To prevent wobbling instabilities, we recommend that the rail assembly be designed with three points of contact against the mounting surface, as shown to the right. For example, to mount a single base rail parallel to the surface, choose one XT95P5 single foot and one XT95P6 dual foot.

Vertically Oriented Rail on XT95P7 Foot

The XT95P7 Horizontal Leveling Foot contains four counterbored holes that are positioned to attach the foot to the inner M6 taps on the end of a standard 95 mm rail. By rotating the stainless steel swivel pad at the bottom, the height of the part is adjustable through a 30 mm (1.18") range. The durable swivel pad provides stable contact with the surface the foot is resting on, even if the surface is angled. Four M6 cap screws and a 5 mm hex key are included.
