The SM1A3TS thread-to-thread adapter contains an internal RMS (0.800"-36) thread and an external SM1 (1.035"-40) thread. Constructed of black Delrin, it is machined with the two threads connected by a flange and can be placed at the end of a threaded tube. This adapter is useful in situations where heat transfer between components could be a problem, such as camera sensors, whose noise increases with temperature.
