This fiber buffer stripping tool provides a quick, easy, and reliable way to remove the buffer from an optical fiber in preparation for connectorization. This tool is for a fiber that has a cladding diameter of 285 µm and a coating diameter of 500 µm. A fiber guide and matched blades ensure that the optical fiber is correctly positioned and stripped each time.
