This low profile T-nut can be used when there is access to the end of the extrusion to slip the nut into place. These are provided as a low cost alternative to our drop-in designs. However, please note that the XE25T3/M nut must be positioned prior to assembling an optomechanical structure unless the structure leaves rail ends unobstructed.
