Vacuum-Compatible Optomechanical Components

Thorlabs offers a variety of optomechanical components for building experimental setups to be used within a vacuum chamber. Our Polaris® line includes mounts for optics as small as Ø1/2" and as large as Ø6". We also offer a vacuum-compatible kinematic mount for Ø1" optics, fixed mirror mounts for Ø1/2", Ø1", Ø1.5", and Ø2" optics, fixed lens mounts for Ø1/2", Ø1", and Ø2" optics, and vented Ø1/2" and Ø1" lens tubes that can be used for large systems of elements along the optical axis. Pinholes can be used for alignment and are available in diameters ranging from 5 µm to 2 mm. Our vacuum-compatible accessories include posts and bases, right-angle brackets for vertical mounting of optomechanical components, and table clamps for securing components to optical tables and breadboards. Each item comes vacuum packaged for cleanroom use.
