Thorlabs' 45° adjustable mount directly accepts Ø1/2" optics. The mount incorporates a flexure mechanism that provides ±1.5° of kinematic pitch adjustment, as seen in Figure 1.1. Pitch adjustment is achieved via the use of an adjustment screw on the back of the mount with a 2.0 mm (5/64") hex. A through hole has a clear aperture of Ø0.25" (Ø6.1 mm), which allows for the use of beamsplitters in addition to non-transmitting optics, such as mirrors. The optic is held in place with a nylon-tipped 5/64" (2.0 mm) locking screw. Additionally, a 8-32 (M4 x 0.7) tap on the base of the mount provides direct compatibility with our pillar or pedestal posts. 

Thorlabs also offers the MA45-2 and MA45-50/M 45° mounting adapters for our KM100 or KM200 mirror mounts, or the POLARIS-MA45(/M) 45° Mounting Adapters for our standard Ø1" Polaris kinematic mirror mounts.
