Telecom Electro-Optic Modulators

Thorlabs offers fiber-coupled LiNbO₃ electro-optic (EO) modulators for telecom and datacom applications. For short-wavelength (830 - 1090 nm) applications, we offer fiber-coupled intensity modulators that support speeds up to 40 GHz and phase modulators that support speeds up to 10 GHz. Our long-wavelength (1260 - 1625 nm) fiber-coupled intensity and phase modulators are available for speeds up to 40 GHz can be driven by our EO modulator drivers. A modulator bias controller is also available for use with our fiber-coupled intensity modulators.
