Ø1" (Ø25.0 mm) Post Mounting Bracket
C1015 Mounting Bracket
The C1015(/M) Horizontal Mounting Bracket for Ø1" (Ø25.0 mm) Posts offers six #8 (M4) counterbored mounting holes and a #8 (M4) counterbored slot. Alternatively, the detachable bracket can be repositioned so that the surface with the #8 (M4) counterbores is secured to the clamp using 8-32 (M4 x 0.7) screws (not included), providing access to six 1/4" (M6) counterbored holes and a 1/4" (M6) slot. The bracket attaches to the post using a flexure clamp with a quick-release handle. These platforms are a perfect alternative to our precision Lab Jacks when fine tuning of the position is not required.
The C10QR(/M) Quick-Release Handle is included with the C1015(/M) bracket and is also available separately below. The handle allows for a simple and reliable way of securing these clamps to a post. It is 1.44" (36.5 mm) long and contains a 1/4"-20 (M6) threaded stud that engages the part by simply rotating the handle. Once the handle is tightened to secure a clamp to a post, the internal ratchet-type mechanism allows for the handle's rotational position to be adjusted without actuating the mounting stud. Simply pull the handle outwards to disengage it from the mounting stud then rotate it to a more convenient position. This feature ensures that the handle will always be accessible to the user.

Dimensions and Mounting Features
The C1015(/M) mounting bracket fits Ø1" (Ø25.0 mm) diameter posts. The detachable angle bracket provides an array of mounting options including six #8 (M4) counterbored mounting holes and a 1" (25.4 mm) long, #8 (M4) clearance slot. It can be removed and flipped to offer access to six 1/4" (M6) counterbores and a 1/4" (M6) counterbored slot. In this alternate configuration, 8-32 (M4 x 0.7) screws (not included) are required to mount the bracket to the clamp.
A quick-release handle [Item# C10QR(/M)] is used to secure the clamp in place once the desired height has been reached.

The C10QR(/M) Quick-Release Handle, included with the Ø1" post clamps above, is also offered separately. In many cases a cap screw is used to lock a flexure-based clamp in place on a post, which requires a balldriver for adjustments. Depending on the mounted load, using a balldriver can be difficult, or even unsafe. This quick-release handle mitigates this problem by allowing the clamp to be hand-tightened, ensuring better control over the amount of torque applied to tighten or loosen the clamp. This also decreases the amount of time needed for basic setup and alignment by eliminating the need for additional balldrivers and allowing for a quick way to secure a clamp.
Once installed, rotating the 1.44" (36.5 mm) long handle engages a 1/4"-20 (M6 x 1.0) threaded stud to tighten or loosen the clamp. The internal ratchet-type mechanism allows for the handle's rotational position to be adjusted without actuating the mounting stud. Simply pull the handle outwards to disengage it from the mounting stud, as shown in the image to the right, then rotate it to a more convenient position. This feature ensures that the handle will always be accessible to the user.
